Indiana High School Basketball - Union County bested by Northeastern

The Union County Patriots basketball squad (Liberty, IN), lost 31-19 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN)

With the victory, Northeastern advances its record to 20-1 on the year. The Knights host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to meet the Golden Falcons in a Tri-Eastern battle on Wednesday, January 29. The Golden Falcons enter the battle with a record of 7-9. Winchester Community lost 39-29 in their recent league battle against Tri (Straughn, IN)

The Patriots now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. Union County will meet a Golden Bears squad coming off a 58-17 league win over Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 15-5.
