In Wednesday's league contest, the host Palm Springs Indians basketball team scored a big 51-26 win over the Rancho Mirage Rattlers.
The Indians (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Knights come into the Desert Empire contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Shadow Hills smashed La Quinta (La Quinta, CA), 62-14, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rattlers battle the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a Desert Empire contest, on Friday, January 24. Rancho Mirage will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 7-16 record after their 37-36 league loss to Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA).
