Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME) followers were in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their basketball team crush the visiting Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME), 63-36 in a league bout.

The Pioneers now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgdon for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. Wisdom will play a Hawks team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Washburn falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Madawaska (Madawaska, ME) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Madawaska lost 61-10 in their recent non-league bout against Ashland (Ashland, ME)
