In Wednesday's league contest, the host Burr & Burton Bulldogs ice hockey team scored a close 6-2 victory over the Rutland Raiders.

The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Bears go into the contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Brattleboro edged Harwood (Moretown, VT), 4-3, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders play the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) in a contest, on Saturday, January 25. Rutland will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Wasps go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 7-0 league loss to U-32 (Montpelier, VT).
