The Millennium Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Sunnyslope Vikings to 39 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Xavier College Prep for a game on Tuesday, January 28. Millennium will play a Gators team coming off a 43-33 league win over Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Gators record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Sunnyslope falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Thunder in a game on Tuesday, January 28. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 3-8. Desert Vista lost 57-43 in their recent non-league game against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)
