California High School Basketball - Victor Valley can't hold off Silverado

Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Victor Valley Jackrabbits (Victorville, CA), 36-29 in a league match.

With the victory, Silverado advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to face the Scorpions in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Scorpions enter the match with a record of 7-3. Hesperia won 36-15 in their recent league match against Serrano (Phelan, CA)

The Jackrabbits now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Victor Valley will face a Rebels squad coming off a 25-13 league win over San Bernardino (San Bernardino, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
