Texas High School Soccer - Highland Park knocks off Creekview

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Highland Park Scots soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the Creekview Mustangs.
The Scots (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region 2 District 9 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Lone Star nipped Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX), 4-0, in a league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Reedy for a 5A Region 2 District 9 match on Friday, January 24. Creekview will meet a Lions team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
