Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA) followers were satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Highlanders (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Groton School (Groton, MA). The come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Groton School got by Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA), 7-4, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Ravens battle the Berwick Academy Bulldogs (South Berwick, ME) in a challenge, on Friday, January 24. Portsmouth Abbey will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to Kents Hill School (Kents Hill, ME).
