The Blue Devils (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Tuscola was routed by West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 59-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Polk County will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 42-31 league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC).
