In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Calvert Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 55-41 win over the Northern Patriots.
The Cavaliers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Great Mills defeated Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 52-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Northern will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 49-34 non-league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD).
