The Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Pulaski County Cougars to 34 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Cave Spring will confront a Spartans team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Pulaski County falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA) to confront the Bruins in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 6-7. Blacksburg lost 54-50 in their recent non-league game against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA)
