The Vanguard Knights basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Dunnellon Tigers to 21 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now have a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Forest for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Vanguard will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 64-33 non-league win over South Lake (Groveland, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Dunnellon falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL) to confront the Celtics in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Celtics go into the game with a record of 1-9. Trinity Catholic lost 55-34 in their recent non-league game against Lake Weir (Ocala, FL)
