In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Elk Grove Thundering Herd basketball team scored a close 52-51 triumph over the Franklin Wildcats.
The Thundering Herd (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA). The Huskies go into the contest with a 9-9 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) in a contest, on Friday, January 24. Franklin will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 52-48 league loss to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA).
