California High School Basketball - Gilroy knocks off Mt. Pleasant

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Gilroy Mustangs basketball team scored a good 30-20 win over the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals.
The Mustangs (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Oak Grove was topped by Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA), 70-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) in a contest, on Friday, January 24. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 49-42 league win over Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
