The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) and the visiting Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA), observed Mount Miguel's basketball team overwhelm Morse by a score of 71-36.

The Matadors (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, El Capitan was routed by Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 76-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 24. Morse will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Komets come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 50-37 league loss to Clairemont (San Diego, CA).
