The Northside Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host William Byrd Terriers to 35 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Lord Botetourt for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Northside will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 52-27 non-league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, William Byrd falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-9. Staunton River won 52-45 in their recent non-league game against Liberty (Bedford, VA)
