Virginia High School Basketball - Rural Retreat routs Patrick Henry

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Rural Retreat Indians basketball team scored a big 43-19 triumph over the Patrick Henry Rebels.
The Indians (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Holston was trounced by Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA), 34-10, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Patrick Henry will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 45-38 non-league loss to Honaker (Honaker, VA).
