Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Caprock moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 5A Region 1 District 3 test on Friday, January 24. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 7-1. Lubbock-Cooper won 4-3 in their recent league test against Plainview (Plainview, TX)

The Sandies now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lubbock for a 5A Region 1 District 3 test on Friday, January 24. Amarillo will clash with a Westerners team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Westerners record now stands at 1-5.
