Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the JSerra Catholic Lions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) and the host Servite Friars (Anaheim, CA), saw JSerra Catholic's soccer squad prevail over Servite by a count of 4-0.

The Lions (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Lancers enter the Trinity battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Orange Lutheran tipped St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Friars confront the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) in a Trinity battle, on Friday, January 24. Servite will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Monarchs enter the battle with a 12-1 record after their 5-2 league win over Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
