California High School Soccer - St. Anthony nudges St. Genevieve

In Wednesday's league outing, the host St. Anthony Saints soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the St. Genevieve Valiants.

The Saints (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights go into the Camino Real outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Bishop Montgomery got by Paraclete (Lancaster, CA), 7-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Valiants play the Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Camino Real outing, on Friday, January 24. St. Genevieve will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-13 record after their 2-1 league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
