In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting C. Milton Wright Mustangs basketball team scored a big 83-45 triumph over the Joppatowne Mariners.
The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood (Edgewood, MD). The Rams go into the Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Edgewood was trounced by Harford Tech (Bel Air, MD), 58-56, in a non-league match.
The Mariners now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patterson Mill for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake match on Tuesday, January 27.
