Fans at Monday's league contest between the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) and the host Oakcrest Falcons (Mays Landing, NJ), saw Absegami's basketball team gain a win over Oakcrest by a score of 68-60.
The Braves now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buena for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Absegami will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 63-31 non-league loss to Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-12.
The Falcons (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Cape May County Tech was defeated by Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ), 57-40, in a league contest.
