In Monday's non-league outing, the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL), by a count of 68-22.
The Green Giants (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL). The Red Ramblers go into the Northeastern outing with a 4-12 record. In their last outing, Mooseheart was crushed by Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL), 65-63, in a non-league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 5-16 record. They play next when they host Somonauk for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27.
