New Jersey High School Basketball - Hammonton can't hold off Atlantic City

The Atlantic City Vikings basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Hammonton Blue Devils to 41 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a Cape/Atlantic - National contest on Friday, January 27. Atlantic City will battle a Pirates team coming off a 55-39 league loss to Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 8-10.
The Blue Devils (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Vineland (Vineland, NJ). The Fighting Clan enter the Cape/Atlantic - United contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Vineland was nudged by Millville (Millville, NJ), 63-50, in a league contest.
