Iowa High School Basketball - Atlantic thwarted by Creston

The Atlantic Trojans basketball team (Atlantic, IA), was toppled 78-69 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Creston Panthers (Creston, IA)

The Panthers now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenwood for a Hawkeye Ten battle on Tuesday, January 24. Creston will confront a Rams team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Boys Town (Boys Town, NE). The Rams record now stands at 11-5.

The Trojans (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Mustangs come into the Hawkeye Ten battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Shenandoah was toppled by Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA), 61-9, in a league battle.
