The Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Au Gres-Sims Wolverines to 25 in the Cardinals league victory on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mio-Au Sable for a North Star contest on Thursday, January 26. Whittemore-Prescott will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 51-40 league win over Posen (Posen, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 9-0.

The Wolverines (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Fairview, MI). The Eagles come into the North Star contest with a 1-9 record.
