Axtell Eagles (Axtell, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Blue Valley Rams (Randolph, KS), 63-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Axtell upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Wabaunsee (Alma, KS) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Wabaunsee won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS)

Next up, the Rams play the Wakefield Bombers (Wakefield, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Blue Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record.
