Brashear Bulls (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carrick Raiders (Pittsburgh, PA), 59-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Brashear upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Bulls travel to Obama Academy of International Studies (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Eagles in a Pittsburgh City bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Obama Academy of International Studies won 78-48 in their recent league bout against Perry Traditional Academy (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Carrick will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 59-43 league win over South Park (South Park, PA).
