In Monday's non-league outing, the Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) basketball squad beat the host Chambers Academy Rebels (LaFayette, AL), by a margin of 51-32.
The Knights (18-5) will now prepare for their outing against Springwood (Lanett, AL). The Wildcats go into the AISA AAA Region 1 outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Springwood defeated Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL), 73-63, in a league outing.
The Rebels now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Autauga Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Chambers Academy will clash with a Generals squad coming off a 63-62 non-league win over Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL). The Generals record now stands at 8-9.
