The Clark Fork Wampus Cats (Clark Fork, ID) basketball knocked off the visiting Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID), 67-56 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wampus Cats (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Noxon (Noxon, MT). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Noxon went down by St. Regis (St. Regis, MT), 61-50, in a league test.
The Miners now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeside for a 1A Scenic Idaho test on Wednesday, January 25. Wallace will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 87-77 non-league loss to Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.
