Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Concordia Prep Saints (Towson, MD), 50-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Friends upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Quakers travel to Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Indian Creek won 62-54 in their recent league bout against Concordia Prep (Towson, MD)

Next up, the Saints clash with the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) in a MIAA B bout, on Friday, January 27. Concordia Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 54-52 league win over Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD).
