Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA), 62-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Earlham upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Madrid (Madrid, IA) to play the Tigers in a West Central bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Madrid won 70-42 in their recent league bout against West Central Valley (Stuart, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) in a Pride of Iowa bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Lenox will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
