Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Egg Harbor Township upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Cape/Atlantic - United bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Middle Township won 54-51 in their recent league bout against St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ)

Next up, the Raiders play the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Ocean City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 66-56 non-league loss to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ).
