The Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA), 67-48 in Monday's non-league test.

The Patriots (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Hawks go into the Lehigh Valley test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Bethlehem Catholic notched a victory over Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA), 64-54, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Catasauqua for a Colonial - West test on Tuesday, January 24. Southern Lehigh will encounter a Rough Riders squad coming off a 35-29 non-league loss to Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 2-15.
