With the win, Holtville upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Notasulga (Notasulga, AL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Notasulga lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Verbena (Verbena, AL)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Loachapoka Indians (Loachapoka, AL) in a 1A Area 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Maplesville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 54-22 league win over Billingsley (Billingsley, AL).
