Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC), 54-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mount Zion Christian Academy upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Mighty Warriors host New Life Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Monarchs in a CAASC Eastern Airborne bout on Tuesday, January 24.
