Virginia High School Basketball - Hurley can't hold off River View

The River View Raiders basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Hurley Rebels to 42 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grundy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. River View will battle a Golden Wave team coming off a 56-40 league loss to Honaker (Honaker, VA). The Golden Wave record now stands at 7-7.
The Rebels (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA). The Panthers enter the Black Diamond contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Twin Valley was nudged by Honaker (Honaker, VA), 74-26, in a league contest.
