The Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels nipped the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors basketball squad by a margin of 63-62 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rebels (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA). The go into the SCISA AA Region II test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Bethesda Academy got by Cross Episcopal (Bluffton, SC), 86-18, in a league test.
The Golden Warrriors now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Hilton Head Prep for a SCISA AAA Region I test on Wednesday, January 25. John Paul II will encounter a Dolphins squad coming off a 57-47 league loss to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Dolphins record now stands at 7-7.
