Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ), 64-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Middlesex upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Carteret (Carteret, NJ) to play the Ramblers in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Ramblers come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Carteret won 70-26 in their recent non-league bout against Wardlaw Hartridge (Edison, NJ)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Kennedy Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 79-43 league win over Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ).
