The Seneca Fighting Irish basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats to 23 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Monday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dwight for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Seneca will meet a Trojans team coming off a 68-57 non-league win over Midland (Varna, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 10-12.

The Wildcats (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Varna, IL). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Midland was routed by Dwight (Dwight, IL), 68-57, in a non-league contest.
