The North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) basketball knocked off the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), 67-49 in Monday's non-league test.
The Falcons (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Commodores go into the Lake test with a 8-3 record.
The Vikings now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Montpelier for a Capital test on Wednesday, January 25. Lyndon Institute will encounter a Solons squad coming off a 69-53 league loss to Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Solons record now stands at 6-3.
