Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX), 45-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Memphis upgrades its record to 3-14 on the season. The Cyclones host Wellington (Wellington, TX) to play the Skyrockets in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, January 27. The Skyrockets go into the bout with a record of 14-4.

Next up, the Indians play the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, January 27. Quanah will attempt to upgrade on its 16-13 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 63-36 league win over Wheeler (Wheeler, TX).
