North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle edged by NCSSM: Durham

The Research Triangle Raptors basketball team (Research Triangle Park, NC), was nudged 54-47 in Monday's league battle with the visiting NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC)

The Unicorns now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin Academy for a 1A/2A Conference 12 battle on Tuesday, January 24. NCSSM: Durham will confront a Patriots team coming off a 61-39 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 13-8.

The Raptors (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Eno River (Hillsborough, NC). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Eno River was nudged by Voyager (Durham, NC), 70-45, in a league battle.
