Minnesota High School Basketball - Washburn can't hold off North Community

The North Community Polars basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Washburn Millers to 56 in the Polars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Polars now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a AA Section 5 contest on Wednesday, January 25. North Community will battle a Tommies team coming off a 82-68 non-league win over Roosevelt/Heritage Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies record now stands at 10-3.
The Millers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Edison was nudged by North Community (Minneapolis, MN), 89-75, in a league contest.
