Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northern Cambria thwarts Purchase Line

January 23, 2023: Commodore, PA 15729

The Northern Cambria Colts (Northern Cambria, PA) basketball knocked off the host Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), 57-47 in Monday's league test.

The Colts (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs go into the Heritage test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Portage notched a victory over Forest Hills (Sidman, PA), 67-65, in a non-league test.

The Red Dragons now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Penns Manor for a Heritage test on Tuesday, January 24. Purchase Line will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 75-72 non-league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Comets record now stands at 7-9.
