The Owatonna Huskies basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Winona Winhawks to 56 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Monday.

The Huskies now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Wing for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Owatonna will battle a Wingers team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Wingers record now stands at 3-9.

The Winhawks (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Falcons enter the AAA Section 1 contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Faribault was routed by Northfield (Northfield, MN), 85-57, in a non-league contest.
