The St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) basketball felled the visiting Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR), 54-34 in Monday's league test.

The Buckaroos (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Oregon School for the Deaf (Salem, OR). The Panthers go into the 1A Casco test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, Oregon School for the Deaf went down by Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR), 69-17, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Falls City/Kings Valley Charter for a 1A Casco test on Wednesday, January 25. Perrydale will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 60-35 non-league win over Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-5.
