The Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) basketball knocked off the host Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA), 48-36 in Monday's league test.

The Lions (4-14) will now prepare for their test against York (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons go into the Bay Rivers test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, York went down by Smithfield (Smithfield, VA), 59-53, in a league test.

The Islanders now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bruton for a Bay Rivers test on Wednesday, January 25. Poquoson will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 49-42 league win over Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-11.
