Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Port Allegany crushes Smethport

January 23, 2023: Port Allegany, PA 16743

Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), 54-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Port Allegany upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Coudersport (Coudersport, PA) to play the Falcons in a North Tier bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Coudersport lost 58-28 in their recent league bout against Cameron County (Emporium, PA)

Next up, the Hubbers play the Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) in a North Tier bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Smethport will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 79-29 league loss to Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA).
