The West Logan Christian Academy Warriors (Logan, WV) basketball nipped the host Teays Valley Christian Lions (Scott Depot, WV), 64-58 in Monday's league test.
The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders go into the West Virginia Christian - AA test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Greater Beckley Christian was tipped by Mercer Christian Academy (Princeton, WV), 60-45, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a West Virginia Christian - AA test on Friday, January 27. Teays Valley Christian will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 70-54 non-league win over Holy Family (Ashland, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 15-4.
